It is a well used and much loved small park, offering a

a very active bowling club and the historic Clayton Hall.

Clayton Hall is a Grade 2 listed building situated  in the centre of Clayton Park.

If you would like to volunteer your time to help out at Clayton Hall or in the garden, please contact us via our guest book or by emailing info@friendsofclaytonpark.org.uk

Friends

The Friends of Clayton Park formed 29th July 2004. We are a small group of volunteers willing to tackle any job in order to keep Clayton Park and Hall in good condition.  All our members are CRB checked.
We have worked long and hard to turn Clayton Hall into a Victorian museum which we open to the public on the third Saturday of each month. The museum provides a hands on experience of a Victorian home and is an excellent educational facility for local schools.
To add to this, students from Manchester College have built raised beds in the Hall compound which enable children to grow herbs and vegetables and have paved the path at the back of Clayton Hall.
Over the years we have been supported in all that we do by Manchester Leisure staff, New East Manchester, local Councillors, Tony Lloyd M.P. and GMP officers.
We meet bi-monthly at Clayton Hall, meetings commence 6.30pm. Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 11th July, 2012. If you would like to join our group or offer your time as a volunteer, just leave a message on our guest book, email us at info@friendsofclaytonpark.org.uk or come along to our next meeting or open day.

We would love to hear from you.
