Friends
The Friends of Clayton Park formed on the 29th July 2004. We are a small group of volunteers who work tirelessly to keep Clayton Park and Hall in good condition.
In 2009 the group bid for and won CASH grant funding which allowed us to dress the kitchen, dining room, cold store room and wash house in Clayton Hall to represent a Victorian home.
The following year we managed to secure a little more funding and added a bedroom.
We open the Hall to the public on the third Saturday of each month.
Clayton Hall provides a hands on experience of a Victorian home for all ages and is an excellent educational resource for local schools.
We then turned our attention to Clayton Hall garden and have carried out major planting and landscaping.
We meet bi-monthly at Clayton Hall, meetings commence at 6pm. Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 17th July, 2013. If you would like to join our group or offer your time as a volunteer, just leave a message on our guest book, email us at info@friendsofclaytonpark.org.uk or come along to our next meeting or open afternoon.
We would love to hear from you.
